Delite Radio A twist of Delite Radio, the intoxicating soulful voice of Everett and a good measure of Hugo Boss

We had the pleasure of being invited to an intimate showcase for the funky and enlivening UK artist 'Everett' by the team at i2 Music Group on a soulful summers evening in the city this August.

The hospitality, passion and commitment from the team at i2 encompassed our guys representing Delite Radio on the night. Brian Jay, Artist Liaison and Event Manager Samantha Evison would like to send their heartfelt thanks to the guys, 'supporting UK talent as good as this, real UK soul for the real soul fan'. 

'Is it the production prowess of Karlos ‘Karlito’ Edwards that enables Everett to swagger all over this two step arrangement with the authority of someone who is destined to rip up the dancefloor? Or the finesse of the lyric supplied by Karlito and ex Living in a Box frontman Richard Darbyshire. It’s clear on listening that must be a combination of all these factors that make this track proudly fly the flag for Britain.

However Everett is no stranger to accolades. Under the pseudonym Soundbwoy, he sung the lead vocals on the 2006 single Never Wanna Say Bye Bye, reaching number 12 in the national charts as well as topping a plethora of urban and club charts. Then in 2016 Everett released the single First Night on the i2 label, a song that again placed him right under the noses of top UK R&B/soul djs'.
