Delite Radio Competition Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all competitions (“Competitions”) organised by or on behalf of Delite Radio (“the Promoter”).
Delite Radio brings you a fresh and exciting commercial sound, putting the feel-good back into radio.

1. Promoter
The Promoter is Delite Radio and any of its associated stations, partners, sponsors or agents involved in running competitions.
These rules apply to all competitions unless additional competition-specific rules are stated.
If there is any conflict between these rules and specific competition rules, the specific rules will take precedence.
2. Eligibility
- Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom.
- Employees of Delite Radio, its sponsors, partners, or associated companies are not eligible to enter.
- Immediate family members of employees are also not eligible.
- Unless otherwise stated, only one entry per person per competition is permitted.
- Anyone who has won a prize from Delite Radio within the previous 12 months may not be eligible to enter.
3. Entry
Competitions may be entered via methods including:
- Telephone
- SMS
- Website entry forms
- Social media
Entry instructions will be explained on-air or online.
Proof of sending an entry does not constitute proof that it has been received by the Promoter.
4. Entry Responsibility
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are:
- Lost
- Delayed
- Incomplete
- Corrupted
- Not received due to technical issues
This includes issues with telephone networks, internet providers, servers, software, or website traffic.
5. Closing Dates
Where competitions have a closing time or date, entries received after this time will not be accepted.
6. On-Air Competitions
- Callers are not guaranteed to be put on air.
- Calls may not be taken in the order received.
- The Promoter cannot reimburse telephone charges.
- Only the caller selected to go on-air will be eligible to win.
7. Winner Selection
Unless otherwise stated, winners will be selected by one of the following methods:
- Random draw
- Correct answer
- Judging panel
- Public vote
The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Winner Notification
Winners will normally be contacted within 30 days of the competition closing.
If the Promoter cannot contact the winner, or the winner does not respond within 30 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
9. Prizes
- Prizes are subject to availability.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred.
- Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
- The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
Unless otherwise stated, the winner is responsible for any additional costs including:
- Travel expenses
- Accommodation
- Insurance
- Taxes
- Spending money
10. Event Ticket Prizes
If a prize includes event tickets, winners must comply with:
- The venue’s terms and conditions
- The event organiser’s rules
- Any conditions printed on the tickets
11. Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
- Breaches these terms and conditions
- Provides false information
- Attempts to manipulate the competition
- Behaves in an abusive or inappropriate manner toward staff
12. Publicity
By entering a competition, entrants agree that Delite Radio may use their:
- Name
- Town or city
- Photograph
- Audio or video recordings
for promotional purposes without additional payment.
13. Data Protection
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Entrant information will be used for competition administration and prize fulfilment.
Where consent is given, entrants may also receive marketing communications from Delite Radio.
14. Limitation of Liability
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, injury or disappointment resulting from entering a competition or accepting a prize.
This includes technical failures relating to telecommunications networks, computer systems, servers or internet access.
Nothing in these rules excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
15. Changes to Competitions
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend competitions where necessary.
Any changes will be published on the Delite Radio website.
16. Social Media Competitions
Competitions run via social media platforms are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, X or TikTok.
17. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
