The Sunday SoundTrack On Delite Radio

 My passion for Soul, Funk, Disco and Dance music began 50 years ago at age 12. My older brother had a mobile disco, and helping him set up equipment sparked a lifelong love of music. I grew up listening to Greg Edwards and Robbie Vincent, with Radio London and Soul Spectrum on Capitol Radio shaping my musical journey. I was a regular at “Best Disco In Town” at the Lyceum Ballroom, plus soul clubs including The Royalty in Southgate and Room At The Top in Ilford. At 16, I started with Radio Guys at Guy’s Hospital before moving into pirate radio, including LWR and Radio Jackie. The 1980s brought club residences In the UK & abroad. Years later, I joined the Bay FM team (now Devonair) to present Funk On Fridays. I later hosted The Sunday Soul Sermon on Tone FM for six years. Now retired in France, I still run a successful Soul night and return to the UK for various soul nights and charity events. My favourite artist is the legendary Marvin Gaye.
